riverisland review, 2 months agoMy online purchase at RI online store never arrived, was the subject of extra custom taxes and fees I was never told I would have to pay, and after exchanging emails throughout 2 weeks period, the seller asked for the package to be returned to them without informing me. Although I do have proof that the order has been returned, the seller still says it cannot proceed with a refund because of "legislation" issues, and can only start this after a period of 30 days. This was the worst costumer support I have ever encountered online. Misleading information on the website, contradictions between personnel dealing with the exact same issue. In summary, a nightmare and I feel I was scammed. Tip for consumers If you are from EU, do not buy form this website, or at least be informed that in addition to the extra fee you pay for the shipment, you will still be charged for additional custom taxes that the seller is not willing to pay, or even if they say they are, they will not proceed with that ... -
